Matching Gifts Program
To find out if your company has a matching gift policy, visit http://www.matchinggifts.com/msu or contact your personnel office to see if your company has a Matching Gift program.
Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match any charitable contributions made by their employees. If your company is eligible, request a matching gift form from your employer, and send it completed and signed with your gift. We will do the rest. The impact of your gift to our school may be doubled or possibly tripled! Additionally, some companies match gifts made by retirees and/or spouses.
ConocoPhillips Corporation, Employees, and Retirees Are Generous to MSU
Montana State University is one of the numerous universities to receive funds through ConocoPhillips’s Educational Matching Gift Program. For the calendar year from January 1, 2005, through December 31, 2005, ConocoPhillips gave MSU nearly $16,000 in matching gifts. MSU is grateful to our alumni and friends with ConocoPhillips Corporation and to the Corporation’s Foundation for their generous support and commitment to our students and our educational endeavors.
ConocoPhillips will match every employee and retiree contribution up to $10,000. For a donation of just $5,000 per year for five years, for example, an employee could establish an undergraduate research endowment with the aid of ConocoPhillip’s match. This provides invaluable support to Montana State University as it strives to serve its students, faculty and community while enhancing its status as one of the leading research universities in the Northwestern United States.
