Administrative Systems Group
What is the Administrative Systems Group?
The Administrative Systems Group (ASG) provides database administration, security,
applications development, information management consultation, technical support,
functional-user support and basic educational services for users of our four-campus
administrative data systems. These systems include SCT Banner and PARIS.
Banner has both Web-based and client server application services for Finance,
Accounts Receivable, Financial Aid, Human
Resources, and Student Services. Banner Web provides access for student,
faculty, and staff to a number of self-service applications.
Client server Banner applications provide PC forms based access to
Banner for administrative transaction processing and reporting.
PARIS is a Web-based application to administer a procurement card system and to enable
departmental users to reconcile and classify monthly charges and feed to Banner Finance system.
ASG also provides consulting, technical support, and
liaison services for a variety of administrative data interfaces to state
and federal government agencies and contracted third-parties.
