Web News  Feb. 18,  2000

Howdy, Webmasters! How's it going out there? Are you all busily at work on your computers like I am? I just got a new Mac G4, so I've been busy setting that up. I also bought a cheap-y scanner and an Epson Stylus 740 color printer.

First up was a Web page for our balloon company--just some basic information and some photos. I used the Composer feature of Netscape 4.5, and then messed with the HTML code just a bit. Anyone else out there using Netscape Composer? Let me know! Or, e-mail the listserv and let us know what software you use to make Web pages. I've been getting lots of questions from people about which one is "best." There are so many options these days, I'm not sure I can make a recommendation!

The other big news in my life (besides the new G4) is that I'm going to be a mama! Our first baby is due March 31, so that was another big reason I got this new computer and scanner at home--now I can put baby pictures up on the Web for the grandmas and other relatives and friends to see. I'll be sure to keep you posted.

Good luck with all your projects, and be sure to e-mail me or the list-serve if you run into a problem or have an idea. Have a great weekend!

Suzi

FREE CODE CLASSES
If you're really into programming, you might enjoy some of these FREE classes offered on-line through CodeWarrior U.
http://www.codewarrioru.com

The classes include some Mac programming, plus Introduction to Java and Introduction to C++ for Windows. They also list several other programming courses that will be offered in the future. I haven't taken any of the classes, so I can't vouch for how good they are, but at least they are free. If you do end up taking a class, please give us a review!
