I am the city hall opera house. I was made in
1889. I was across from the Bozeman Hotel. I had 3 jail cells, 2
for men and 1 for women. I had a bell at the top of my tower that is
now at the firehouse. In 1890 Bozeman got their first street
light. I was lucky I got to experience that year. I was torn down
in the 1960’s, but they saved some of my brick. Where I was is now a
park. I loved it there. |

In the late 1880s they started to build me.
They put in these weird windows on me that are circles. I was
finished in 1889. In 1890 it was the first year of streetlights. And if
you were in jail, you could hear the show from your cell. Then movie
theaters started replacing me. They slowly started not using me. In the
80’s they tore me down. The land was turned into a park. And that
bell at the firehouse was on me. |

instance the jail house the opera house and the library. The bricks for
my body were built in Bozeman. I had an eagle up above my roof. And I
was torn down in 1960s. |

I am the City Hall/Opera House. I was built in 1889
for all people to use my great area. When I was around, I was used for
many things such as, meetings and opera singing, and I was also used as
a jail. Most of the buildings around me were two stories and made out
of wood. I was torn down when movies were invented and everyone just
abandoned me. I was torn down in the 1960s. That was my amazing life as
an opera house. |

When Montana was still choosing its capital state, a
lot of places wanted to be the capital; including Bozeman. So they made
a City Hall/Opera House. It wasn’t that easy though. They had to get a
lot of money from Bozeman citizens so they could build it. So
once they got enough money they built it in 1889 to impress people so
Bozeman would become the capital city. The city hall had everything
like the opera house, jail, and library. Bozeman didn’t win the
competition, Helena did, but Bozeman won the college. Sadly in the 60s
the city hall was taken down. |

I am the Opera House. I was born in 1889. People
would build jails in me. They were made for non-violent criminals. They
would hear the rehearsal yet not be able to go to the show. They built
a library in me. They had separate times for women and men. I too had a
City Hall. Used for well, city stuff like trying to win the Capital
Competition. They built a library in me. I was too expensive and
started to crumble so in 1960 they took me down and moved me. This is a
portion of my life as an Opera House |

I’m the City Hall/Opera House. I was built in 1889
but later torn down because I was falling apart. I was a little smaller
than the Bozeman Hotel. In the 60s I was taken down at the age of 20.
The mayor John D. Bogart, was and actor who built me. |

I am the Opera House. There are 900 seats
inside me. I was built in 1889. The Bozeman hotel is across
from me. I am a city hall and Opera House and a jail.
People come to me for meetings, opera shows and if they have to go to
jail. Most of the buildings around me are made out of wood and
are two stories high. In 1890 the first street lights were shined
on me. In the 1960s they tore me down. It cost a lot of
money to tear me down. The bell that rang at the top of me is now
in the front of the Fire House. There used to be a library inside
of me, but men and women had separate times to use the library.
Even though I’m not here, my soul still lives. |

Hi, I am the Opera House. I was built in 1890
out of brick. I provided entertainment for many people.
People sang and performed shows in me. Most boys and girls who
came to see the entertainment had at least one fancy suit or
tuxedo. Then a big change happened. The streetcar was
invented in 1899. Old buildings were not liked then and were torn
down. I was torn down in 1960s and made into a park. |
