Bozeman Symphony
Background
Historical Fiction
I was at
the Bozeman Symphony with Baylee and
Courtney this May 27th. We were definitely impressed with the
music we were hearing at the Opera House. We were looking at
Elizabeth Woo because she was an amazing violinist who brought us back
in time with her music. Her music started to tell us a story and
it brought us back in time. We were back in time at an old
symphony in 1896 whne she was still little.
The
symphony ended. We left and we bumped into
a little old man. He was Elizabeth Woo’s father. He asked
us if he could tell us about Elizabeth and when she started playing and
we said “Yes”. Elizabeth moved to Bozeman from China. She
was 10 years old when she started playing the violin.
All of a
sudden, Baylee got bored and wanted to go
back to the other symphony. I said “We should think of a plan to
go back to the present.” They thought...thought...thought and
then Courtney came up with the play. We will go to the other
symphony across the street and that will take us back to the
present. We walked outside and didn’t see any modern cars.
The trees on the sidewalk were a lot smaller than they are now.
But we did not have tickets to get in. When we approached the
door this friendly man said, “There’s only three tickets left.
Who wants them?” We quicly ran over and bought them for $1 each.
When we
walked into the symphony we were back in the
present time at the Bozeman Symphony. I had to do a report for
school on the symphony, that’s why I went.
I learned
a lot at the Bozemna Symphony and going to
the past. It was an amazing experience! To be continued on
my next adventure into the past....!
