Bozeman - New York, New York – by

Bozeman is a great
place for fun. There is Bridger
Bowl, which is one of the best places to ski. The snow is always thick
and perfect to ski and snowboard. There are many good schools in
Bozeman, like Sacajawea Middle School, Irving, Hawthorne, MSU, Chief
Joseph and Longfellow. Bozeman also is the perfect spot to hike, and
the best thing is that Yellowstone is not far away.
New York is a bustling city to live in, but it has
some very nice art museums. Don’t forget the theatres. There are major
sports events also. Because it’s so big, it’s a great place for
business. Apple has a very good store there. My Dad’s cousin
lives there and has a film class called Pation (sp??) Production. They
make very nice films and sometimes scary films. New York is a good
place to live.
New York, I guess, would be a great place to live.
The bad thing about New York is that it is really busy. There are so
many businesses. It’s probably a nice place to live except that most
people live in apartments. Some people live in houses but not
everybody. New York is a pretty nice place to live.
Bozeman - Westport, Massachusetts – by

I think that Bozeman is a wonderful place to live
because it is very old, and it is in the Rocky Mountains. Other reasons
it’s a great place are that it has an interesting history --Lewis and
Clark traveled through it before it was established. It is also
surrounded by many beautiful rivers, geysers and forests. Bozeman is
awesome.
There are many things that make Westport,
Massachusetts special. It has lots of trees, and it is right by the
ocean, and a beautiful beach, and it has beautiful scenery. It has an
estuary and is only an hour from Boston. It’s really fun to go to the
beach and swim out to a giant rock and jump off the top. It’s really
fun to ride bikes down to the little store and buy candy. I love
Westport!
I would rather live in Westport because it is closer
to all my family, is closer to past moved friends, and is right by the
ocean. It is a small town, and the people there are very friendly.

Bozeman - Bennington, Vermont –

“Are we there yet, Mom? I’m bored. What’s the point
of moving from Bennington, Vermont, to Bozeman, Montana, anyway?”
“Well, one of the cool and special things is that you can sometimes see
art on the road. Did you know that John Bozeman traveled through
Bozeman, and Bozeman was named after him? Nelson Story lived in Bozeman
and so many other famous people lived there. Since you love art so
much, we can get you any kind of art lesson you want, etc.” Mom won’t
stop talking about how great Bozeman is and how I am going to live it
so much.
I just don’t understand why we can’t stay in
Bennington, Vermont. In Vermont the mountains are really green, and
that’s why people call Vermont the “Green Mountain State.”
Vermont is top-ranked for making maple syrup. A lot of our family lives
there. They have birds the size of a small snowball. I know that
Bozeman is a beautiful place, but Vermont is the place for me!
Of course, everybody wants to live there, right? I
mean who wouldn’t? A president grew up there. Bennington Monument is in
Bennington, Vermont. There are so many amazing sites to see. It’s also
very beautiful. That’s why we need to go back to Vermont.
Bozeman - Santa Cruz, California – by Elise
Here are a few things that I think make Bozeman
special. You can go skiing near Bozeman. It snows even in downtown
Bozeman. It still is a smallish town. It is a wonderful place to raise
a family. Bozeman is a nice little town, but let’s see what you think
of Santa Cruz.
Here is some special stuff about Santa Cruz. The
ocean is there in Santa Cruz. There is a boardwalk to go to. You can go
surfing or boogie boarding. There are also redwood trees in the
mountains. The weather is a little less harsh compared to Bozeman. They
are both great places to live.
Here are some reasons I would choose Santa Cruz to
live in. Santa Cruz has nicer weather. Santa Cruz is near the ocean,
and I love the ocean. There is boogie boarding also. I like the sorts
of trees that grow in Santa Cruz, like redwoods that grow in the
mountains, and I also like the palm trees that grow near the city and
beach. Those are the reasons I would choose. What are your reasons?
Bozeman – Missoula – by Ellie
There are many things that make Bozeman special. We
have mountains, and we live in a valley. I love the beautiful scenery.
The first people that lived here were famous. All the elementary
schools were named after poets. That’s why Bozeman is special to me.
Missoula is also special because my cousins live
there. There is a cool river that runs through the whole town. They
have sweet pool. In downtown Missoula there’s a nice carousel. Lastly,
there are lots of deer. That’s why Missoula is special to me.
This is why someone would not want to live in
Missoula: The people that live there are grizzly fans. Missoula smells
really bad. In Missoula there are a lot of people. They are spread out
all over town and through the big valley. That’s why someone would not
want to live in Missoula.

Bozeman is a special place. It has three ski resorts
close by. Bozeman has a lot of outdoor activities. There are a lot of
beautiful old houses. Bozeman has a ton of interesting history. There
is a co-op. Bozeman is a very wonderful town.
Helena is a special place. It is a very wonderful
town. The Montana state capital is Helena. There are a ton of old
historical houses. Helena has many old historical houses. There are
really good restaurants. I think that Helena is a very interesting town.
Helena is a place where people would want to live
because it has old beautiful houses. Helena is close to other towns.
There is a ski hill nearby. I think that Helena is a town that other
people would want to live in.

Bozeman - Rome, Italy – by Ryan
I love Bozeman. One cool thing about the town is
that it’s named after John Bozeman who was a man from Georgia who died
here. If you ever come to Bozeman, make sure you stay until winter
because it’s got great skiing and snowboarding. When it gets hot again,
you can go to the Swim Center, and did I mention Bridger Ridge Ice
Cream? They have the best ice cream here. If animals are your thing,
you will love it here because we take dogs almost everywhere.
Rome is a pretty cool place also. It’s got a museum
that has a statue of David. If you ever go there, there’s a church that
has three different stone colors- green, pink and white. Another cool
thing about Rome is that it has a statue of Perseus and Neptune and
there’s this bridge called Ponte Vecchio, which means old bridge.
There are a few reasons I think someone would live
in Rome. It has great food, a great landscape and the pace of life
seems slower. Everything is not hurry, hurry. I, for one, love the
architecture and the gelato is great! Well, those are two places that I
love.
Bozeman - Salt Lake City, Utah – by Gabriel
I am comparing Bozeman to Salt Lake City. Here are
some things that make Bozeman special. Bozeman has a very nice library.
It has a huge selection of books. Bozeman bike trails are everywhere.
Some are the Gallagator, Sourdough, and Pete’s Hill. Bozeman has great
skiing in the mountains and at Lindley Park. The Main Street of Bozeman
is really nice. There are many shops on each side of the street. These
are a few of the many things that Bozeman has to offer.
These are some things that make Salt Lake City
special. In Salt Lake City there are many parks, all of which are very
well kept. There is a lot of hiking in the Wasatch Mountains. The
Wasatch Mountains also have fabulous skiing. There are many National
Parks near Salt Like, like Zion, Bryce, Canyonlands and Arches. These
are all in the Red Rock country and have many canyons. Real Salt Lake
(?) also plays soccer in Utah. These are a few of the many things Salt
Lake has to offer.
These are some reasons people would pick Bozeman to
live in. The skiing is fantastic, and the new library has a great
selection of books. All of the scenery around Bozeman is beautiful.
Bozeman – Salt Lake City, Utah – by Molly
Bozeman is a very interesting and special town for
many reasons. Some of the things that make Bozeman special are the
Museum of the Rockies and its trails. We’re lucky to still have great
trails and hikes in Bozeman. The Museum of the Rockies is special for
its history and fabulous exhibits. Also, people come to Bozeman for the
beauty of the mountains that surround it. Another reason is for its
small town safeness. The city also has good air quality. That’s why
people love it here.
Bozeman is a quiet, beautiful town, but other cities
are special, too. Salt Lake City is one of those. Salt Lake is in Utah
and has a lot of cool highlights that make up the town. Utah’s Hogle
Zoo displays wonderful animals. There’s also Lagoon Theme Park. Its
roller coasters will blow your socks off! Another highlight is IKEA, a
huge store filled with almost everything! People also love Salt Lake’s
wide streets. Lots of cars can pile onto the busy highways. Its lovely
climate also makes this an enjoyable place. Salt Lake welcomes people
with its beauty.
Bozeman is a very nice place to live in – but why
not Salt Lake? Bozeman, Montana, is smaller than other cities, opening
the opportunities of easy traffic and nice driving. With it being
small, it’s safer too. For families that need a getaway that’s safe and
friendly, come to Bozeman! Also, Bozeman’s beauty is
irresistible. This town has great schooling, too! When the great
outdoor activities come in as a top favorite, Bozeman is perfect for
the whole family.
Bozeman - Washington, DC – by Hadley
Bozeman is special because it’s small and
comfortable. There’s also people you won’t find anywhere else. Like
John Bozeman. He died but I wish I could meet him. Bozeman also has
really good schools, and that’s why I live in Bozeman.
My Dad lives in Washington, DC, so I know a lot
about it. I’d live in Washington because there’s a lot of water parks
and theme parks. I really love the museums and they’re free! When I was
there, we went to the ocean and that was lots of fun. It’s a huge city,
so that’s why I love Washington, DC.
I think that people should live in Bozeman because
it’s safe and it has great schools, pools and tons of trails. When you
are in 5th grade, you get to do band and orchestra. There are also lots
and lots of skiing hills at Bridger Bowl. I love skiing there in the
winter. So that is why you should live in Bozeman. See you at Bridger

Bozeman – Minneapolis, Minnesota – by Michael
There are a lot of special things about Bozeman.
Every winter I go to Bridge Bowl to ski. Then every year in the summer
we have the Sweet Pea parade where we run around and have fun! Bozeman
has some amazing history. You know when I was talking about Bridger
Bowl, well, we get a lot of snow around here. This is a very nice place
to live.
There are things that make Minneapolis special too.
The one place that I like in Minneapolis is the Mall of America.
Minneapolis is a very big city. They have the best football team in the
world- the Minnesota Vikings! Minneapolis has a lot of stores.
Minnesota has a lot of big colleges. That’s why Minneapolis is special.
If I had to choose between Bozeman and Minneapolis,
I would choose Minneapolis because it’s a nice big city. There’s a ton
of people. There are nice colleges. There’s the best football
team ever. There are nice people. That’s why I would choose Minneapolis.
Bozeman – Great Falls – by David
Bozeman has interesting history-lots of things
happen. In October, bears come into town. I also like Bozeman because I
live there and I have lots of friends there. The things that make
Bozeman less special are the construction, the homeless people, the
loud parties and the small amount of police officers. There are a lot
of lost animals.
Great Falls is a great place. Great Falls has the
Great Falls and a big river with a trail and park alongside it. My
grandpa is there to. There are many people and birds in Great Falls.
You should pick the South part of Bozeman to live
in. There’s a lot of my classmates there. It’s usually quiet, but in
the summer you can hear Sweet Pea music. It’s near school. That’s why I
would choose Bozeman to live in.
Bozeman – Niantic, Connecticut – by Bryan
There are many things that I like about Bozeman.
There are lots of great hiking and biking trails in town and near town,
like Hyalite. Our climbing rock is the best. Bridger Bowl is a great
place if you like skiing or snowboarding. Bozeman has many good
schools. There is an excellent ice cream and sandwich shop called
Pickle Barrel. Main Street has many shops and is fun to walk along.
Last, but not least, Bozeman is an easy drive from Yellowstone.
I would like to tell you about a small town in
Connecticut called Niantic (Old Black Point). I visit with my cousins
and grandparents there every summer. The house is on the Long Island
Sound and has beautiful views of the water and boats. You can go
swimming, biking and crabbing there. The town library has a great
selection of books, and I like the movie theatre. I think there are a
few pretty good schools nearby.
Now I’m going to tell you why someone would live in
Connecticut. You can go swimming and fishing in the ocean. Many people
are friendly. It is not busy like New York City and the air is nice and
clean. Old Black Point is a great place to visit and live.
Bozeman - Tarzana, California – by Riley
Bozeman is a very special place. Things that make
Bozeman special are the Heart of the Valley animal shelter. What is
awesome about that is that it takes in animals. Miniature golf is fun,
because it gives you something to do. When you want to relax, you can
watch the sunset. When you want o see something, look out your window
for a cool view. And there are always nice people. There’s Bozeman.
Tarzana is also a very special place. These are
things that make Tarzana special. On a hot day or you just want to have
fun, you can go to a water park. It’s also 45 minutes from
Disneyland. You can go take a swim in your back yard. There are a
lot of really nice people. There is great food. There’s Tarzana.
There are reasons a person would pick Tarzana. Here
are the reasons. There are great restaurants, water parks, lots
of different people, and animals at the L.A. zoo. It’s pretty and
really sunny.
Bozeman – Omaha, Nebraska and
Bountiful, Nebraska – by Amber
I think that Bozeman is pretty special because it
has some cool stuff. So, it has MSU and there’s a ski resort 20 minutes
away. The scenery is pretty. Bozeman also has fun carnivals. I also
like its schools. The school that I went to in Omaha before I moved to
a new school was like a military school. I still miss it.
The city that I lived in before was really big and
was called Omaha, Nebraska. Omaha has the college world series! In the
winter Omaha has really fun sledding hills! Most my friends live there.
I miss Omaha.
The other place that I would live in is Bountiful.
Bountiful is one of my favorite places. It is so pretty. Many of my
relatives live there! What’s part of the prettiness is there’s a
temple. Bountiful is very lucky because it has lagoon. Lagoon is very
fun and popular. My favorite ride is cliffhanger. I love Bountiful.

One thing that makes Bozeman, Montana, special is
all the outdoor space. There’s a lot of wildlife, like antelope,
deer, magpies, rabbit, elk, gopher, and much more. Bozeman has a
lot of history to learn. The town is a welcoming community. Another
reason why Bozeman is special is because it’s a small town, and you
would know most of the people living here. Bozeman, Montana, is a
really special town.
Aurora, Colorado, has many things that make it
special. One of the things is all the amazing buildings, like the Qwest
(?) building. The Rocky Mountains in Aurora, Colorado, are huge with a
lot of wildlife. The city has everything – three huge malls and lots of
amusement parks. Aurora has many fun places to go, such as Six Flags,
Boondocks, Chuck E. Cheese, and much more. One positive and not so
positive reason why Aurora is special is because of all its traffic;
it’s good to know that there are a lot of people living there because
you know that it is a good city. Aurora is a really special city to
live in for all these reasons.
There are many reasons why people would pick
Bozeman, Montana, to live in. There are many nice people, like my
teacher Mrs. Babcock. Every time you need to run an errand, you don’t
have to waste time driving for too long. It’s a ten minute ride most of
the time. Here in Bozeman there is a lot of open space to do many
things. Bozeman, Montana, had interesting history to learn and great
museums. Bozeman has a lot of interesting views, like the “M” on the
mountain. I think a lot of people would choose Bozeman, Montana to live
in.
Bozeman - Las Vegas, Nevada – by Nancy
There are so many wonderful things that make Bozeman
special. One of the things that make Bozeman special is that it is such
a small town. Almost everyone knows one another. You can also go
skiing, sledding and skating. In Bozeman there are not a lot of big
crimes. Bozeman also has lots of wildlife. Some buildings in Bozeman
have bits of history in their walls. Bozeman is a great town.
There are a lot of things that make Las Vegas,
Nevada special. One of the things that make Las Vegas special is that
there is always some show or play going on. It is also a large city.
Las Vegas is extremely warm. One thing about Las Vegas is that there
are palm trees in the desert. On the strip, there are big hotels with
bigger attractions. Las Vegas is a special place to live.
There are many reasons a person would live in Las
Vegas. One reason is it is really warm. In this city there is always
something to do. Las Vegas has big hotels with big attractions. People
who gamble have lots of places to gamble. People think that they can
get lots of money. Las Vegas is a great city and Bozeman is also.
Bozeman – Denver, Colorado – by Nolan
There are a lot of things that make Bozeman special.
One of the things that make Bozeman special is that it is just the
right size. So, there are not as many robbers. There are a lot of
animals like deer and moose. It has some of the most beautiful sunsets.
There are historical schools like Longfellow and Irving.
Denver is one of the biggest cities in the country.
It has a lot to do, many restaurants, sports and museums. Denver has a
lot of kids so you are never bored. There is a big library so there are
a ton of books you can read. All the people I have met are really nice.
Denver is really fun to live in; at least it was fun
for me. The people in businesses were always nice to me and my family.
There are a lot of Red Lobster and Chuck E. Cheese restaurants. The
restaurants had really good food. I would like to move back to Denver
because of all the things it had.

Bozeman – Moab, Utah – by Bridget
I love Bozeman and the things inside it, and this is
what I like. There are many great hiking and bushwhacking places. Also
Bridge Bowl allows me to snowboard all day. Bohart Ranch let me speed
up and down on my Nordic skis. The Bozeman Tracks Club is an
organization that lets me join with my friends to do a sport I love.
Lastly, I love the climbing boulder so I can show my sister how
climbing really is done. Now you can see why I love Bozeman.
Moab, Utah, is a beautiful place and is great for me
and my family to visit. There is Arches National Park, with a
campground inside that is conveniently close to hiking trails.
Plus there are beautiful sandstone arches like Delicate Arch. Also
there’s a terrain park on the slick rock, so that my family can get
some exercise. Last, of course, is the T-shirt shop. Moab really is a
beautiful place.
Bozeman truly is a beautiful place and this is why a
person would want to live here. First, I live here and everybody loves
me. Second of all, the schools are great, so you can get a good
education. Of course, a person would like to live here because the
community is nice so you can make friends easily. Maybe someone would
like Bozeman because we have a pet adoption center. Last but not least,
the houses are great. I think that you would like to live in Bozeman.
Bozeman - Chicago, Illinois – by Arlen
Bozeman and Chicago are both very special. I like
Bozeman because it has a lot of Western history, such as the wagon
train, the Indians, and of course, C.M. Russell. Bozeman is also named
after John Bozeman, who is a very historical person. There are also
great mountains that have great ski hills, such as Bridger Bowl.
Bozeman also has a great hot springs called Bozeman Hot Springs.
There are some pretty cool things about Chicago,
too. Chicago has a lot of gangster history, all about gangs and thugs.
I don’t know too much about it, but it’s still cool. There are a lot of
sky scrapers that when you have a high room in an apartment you have an
awesome view. The hotels are great and the restaurants are even better.
Chicago also has three Children’s Museums, all of which are fun to play
at. There is also something that I bet you do not know about Chicago.
Chicago us an Indian word for “stinky cabbage,” which I think is very
weird but interesting.
If someone wanted to live somewhere other than
Bozeman, they might consider living in Chicago for three reasons: 1)
There is great nightlife – music, food, dancing, theater- you name it.
2) The cultural activities are amazing – museums, libraries, opera,
symphony, and universities. 3) Let’s not forget Lincoln Park on Lake
Michigan. There is also the Lincoln Park Zoo. I have been to a
lot of these places, all of which are cool and fun. I love Chicago as
well as Bozeman.
Bozeman – Carlsbad, California – by Natalie
In the Wizard of Oz, Dorothy says, “There’s no place
like home.” So if you live in Bozeman, there is no place like home.
Bozeman is special because it was started and named after John Bozeman.
We also have many historical houses and stores. It’s really beautiful
in the mountains in summer, winter, spring and fall. We also have
weather that fits with the season; it snows in the winter, or it’s hot
in the summer, unlike Arizona or Antarctica. Bozeman is a great place
to visit in any season.
Carlsbad, California is the best place to go in the
summer! It’s right near the ocean and has many hotels looking right
onto the beach. Sometimes really early in the morning, you can see
dolphins or whales moving along the shore. At sunset, walks along the
beach are irresistible. So are the shells and rocks. So who wouldn’t
come to Carlsbad?
Carlsbad is one of my choices to live when I grow
up. What about you? I would live there because it’s warm, and if you
get too warm, you can jump in the ocean. If you are looking for round,
smooth rocks, then you should honestly visit. There are lots of big
waves, and the water is the perfect temperature. If you want to live
near an ocean, Carlsbad is right for you!

In my hometown of Bozeman, Montana, there are many
things that make Bozeman special. Some of them are very enjoyable, like
Bridger Bowl. The mountain ranges and beautiful areas are absolutely
spectacular to look at. Also the animals are very unique and very fun
to look at. The animals seem to have their own personalities.
Billings also has some very special features. One
that is a very big hit is the Billings Water Park. It is a very
big water park with tons of fun slides. Also there is a very fun place
in Billings called the Billings Zoo. At the zoo there are so many
animals, like tigers, birds and many other animals. There are also many
big buildings in Billings, including skyscrapers. Billings has a large
population and keeps growing and growing. Also in Billings there are
wonderful hotels with great service and reasonable prices. The rooms
are great and very clean. That’s what makes Billings special.
Here are some reasons that people would choose
Billings to live in. Billings has a lot of people living there. Another
thing is that there is a lot of traffic going on in Billings. Also in
Billings there is good service at restaurants and such. Billings is
also a great place for the kids and a good place to find a job. That is
why some people might want to live in Billings.
Bozeman - Prescott, Arizona – by Cole
Bozeman is special in its own little way. For
example, it is close to Yellowstone National Park. The seasons are
beautiful. There are lots of outdoor activities and games to play.
People are very nice in Bozeman.
Prescott, Arizona, is special to me because my
grandma and grandpa live there. To the people of Prescott, it is
special because the Grand Canyon is close by. Downtown is
amazing, with lots of stores and a courtyard. It has as many people as
Bozeman has and maybe more. The restaurants are very good. The schools
are just as good as Bozeman’s schools.
You would want to live in Prescott because the
weather is warm but not too warm. It does snow sometimes, though.
They have good schools in Prescott. There are many activities in
Prescott, such as football, horseback riding, and lots of others. Day
trips are always a choice to have fun. You can go to Flagstaff, Sedona
and lots of other places. Well, Prescott sounds like a fun place.
Bozeman – St. Louis, Missouri – by Margot
Bozeman is the best town ever! But I’ll tell
you about a town that you might have second thoughts about! The things
that I think make Bozeman special are that this town has so many
historical features. Another special thing is that I live here. That
makes it really special for me. I also love looking out my windows and
seeing the mountains and the beautiful landscape that we have here. My
favorite thing is the ski hills, because I love to ski! This is why I
love Bozeman.
Now you’ve heard about Bozeman, I’ll tell you about
something a little more southeast, like St. Louis, Missouri. I
think that St. Louis is awesome because my Mom was born there. My
cousins also live there. Okay, I know that water skiing might not be as
fun as snow skiing, but it’s better than nothing! They also have
the best amusement park called Six Flags! It’s awesome! St. Louis is
also very historical. Even though I love Bozeman, this is making me
want to move there.
People do live in St. Louis, so there are good
reasons to live there! Here are a few. Lewis and Clark came through
this city. The area has a bunch of lakes. There’s so much you can do in
them. They also have the most amazing caves. Museums are really cool
here and very interesting and popular! Finally, the best part of Sr.
Louis is the Arch! The Arch is a huge curved structure that you can go
up to the top – it’s so scary! There’s also the baseball, because
baseball is really popular in Missouri. Now you see that Bozeman is not
the coolest city after all!

Bozeman – Seattle, Washington – by Evan
Bozeman is a special place to live, and I will tell
you why. There are beautiful mountains that you can hike and ski on.
The rivers near Bozeman have some of the best fishing holes. Overall
it’s special because of the outdoor recreation. Another reason Bozeman
is special is because of the good schools. Bozeman also has a
university, Montana State University. Bozeman is a great place to live.
Seattle, Washington, has a lot of special things
about it too. The Space Needle is a great landmark. There are
many skyscrapers. It also has a waterfront. In Seattle there is a cool
aquarium. Pike’s Place market is a cool market place on the
beach. The Puget Sound, which leads to the ocean, is amazing too.
Seattle has some neat things also.
There are reasons that I would Bozeman to live in
instead of Seattle. There are fewer people. The mountain views are
amazing in the winter. The lifestyle is much slower and not rushed as
fast. Animals like elk, deer, and moose live near by. Hunting in the
mountains is a blast and you get a good hike. The outdoors is
beautiful. Bozeman is my place.
Bozeman – New York, New York – by Dani
Bozeman is a great place to live and there are a lot
of things that make it special. One of the things is the snow. Another
is Longfellow school and the Longfellow neighborhood, with all the old
houses. If you love skiing, you can go to Bridger Bowl! There is also
the Sweet Pea Festival if you want to have fun during the summer.

Now let’s hear about New York City. New York is a
great place to live, too! There is the shopping (they must have great
shoes). Also there is Broadway and Central Park. While you are in New
York, you can see the Empire State building and the Statue of Liberty.
