Bozeman To Other Cities
Bozeman  /Pensacola
by Sumner

My favorite things about Bozeman are eating at Burger Bobs, looking at the mountains, playing in the snow and living in a small city.
The things I like best about Pensacola are that my grandparents live there and it’s warm. It’s fun looking for alligators even though I have never seen one. My grandparents have a lake that is fun to play in.
I prefer Pensacola, because you can swim in the ocean. I can see my grandparents, I could water ski and knee board and look for alligators in the lake.

Opera House
Main Street
Bozeman, MT 59715
Nov. 15, 2005
Dear Summer,
My name is the Opera House.  I live on Main Street (actually, that is where I used to live).  When the Bozeman Hotel opened they built a bridge from me to the hotel, so the ladies would not get their dresses dirty.  Yes, those were the good old days before I died….
                    Sincerely,
                    The Opera House

Historical Fiction
Ed Anacker
By Sumner

Hi, I’m Ed Anacker, and I used to live in New York, but not for a long time.  I moved to the great mountains of Bozeman, Montana.
The first thing I saw when I got to Bozeman was the Bridger mountains.  I thought they would be cool to run on.  So about two years later, I had some friends go run up it with me.  More and more and more friends wanted to do it with me, and I always said, “Yes.”
Now I have my own business called The Bridger Ridge Run, named after Jim Bridger, the mountain man.  The trail was hard but fun.  When you got to the end of the trail, lots of people were there cheering you on, counting me.  The Bridger Ridge Run happened once a year and was very hard.  I think every person in Bozeman should train and try this run because it is so neat.  I hope to see you there next year!

Interesting Bozemanites
Sumner

1. John Bozeman – He is interesting to me because that’s who Bozeman was named after.
2. Nelson Story – He was great because he named the Ellen Theater after his wife.
3. Derek Strahn – He sounds neat because he lives on my block and knows a lot about Bozeman history.
4. Al Kesselheim – He is neat because he wrote a lot of great books, one of hem is Threading the Current.
5. Mary Pat Zitzer – She is cool because she was the middle child of nine children and uses her time beading, canoeing and doing art work.
6. My Uncle Cameron – She is interesting because he was born in Japan and raised in Alaska and takes great photos!
7. Sandy billingham – She is a great person. She is my piano teacher and she is very fun.
8. Mrs. Babcock – She is a great teacher and won teacher of the year in history.
9.  Conrad Aker – He is a great rock climber and has climbed Mount Everest.
10. Jack Horner – He is a great person to talk to if you want to learn more about dinosaurs and he helped work on  the movie Jurassic Park.

What I think About Things
Sumner

I’m writing this paper to tell about how I think Bozeman will look in the year 2099.
I think the population will grow by at least a hundred thousand. I also think there will be more boys than girls just because most boys like to go hunting and fishing where there is lots of game.
Along with population growth I think there will be radical clothing changes. I think the clothes might be very thin and be warmer than our warmest coats put together!
The vehicles and roadways may look different too. We may have floating chairs that take you around town! We may have roadways three stories tall! Who knows!
I hope in 2099 we learn that it is better build up than out. I bet in 2099 we will be building up not our like San Francisco.
I think Bozeman will face many challenges like population and transportation and will do it in a whole new style!
