The 2012 Bus Tour highlights The Montana University System and will visit the following universities:The University of Montana
www.umt.edu and admissions.umt.edu
Founded in 1893, it is a liberal arts institution which is part of the Montana University System. Nearly 14,000 students attend UM and receive undergraduate and graduate education in the University’s four colleges—arts and sciences, forestry and conservation, technology and health professions. It also includes seven schools—journalism, law, business, forestry, education, pharmacy and the fine arts.
The University of Montana is located in Missoula, the hub of five valleys and three major rivers. With about 60,000 residents, the city has an increasingly diverse population and is Glacier Country's center of commerce and culture. Many outdoor opportunities are available in the millions of acres of surrounding recreational and wilderness areas.

Founded in 1893, Montana State University is the state's land-grant research university and also part of the Montana University system. Enrollment totals just under 14,000 students who major in more than 120 areas of study. MSU offers undergraduate and graduate education in the liberal arts and sciences, agriculture, architecture, education, engineering, health and human
development, and nursing.
MSU is located in Bozeman, a city that encompasses over 80,000 people with its surrounding areas. It is one of Montana's major tourism and agricultural centers-in the heart of Yellowstone country and is surrounded by four mountain ranges, thousands of acres of the Gallatin National Forest and hundreds of miles of blue ribbon trout streams.
This tour is intended to showcase the Montana University System but due to our expansive state, we cannot get to each campus in person. Therefore, the following affiliate campuses will also be present to give an overview of their programs at their respective affiliate campus.
