Freshman Students

All students attending a Freshman Summer Orientation Program (programs in June and July) are required to stay on campus. The Orientation Office will make arrangements for your housing for Monday and Tuesday evening. If you will be arriving early or staying late and need on-campus housing before Monday night or after Tuesday night, please use the links below (under Parent Family/Members) to make reservations online. Please remember that you only need to do this if you need housing before or after orientation. The Orientation Office will take care of your reservations for Monday and Tuesday night during Orientation.

If you are arriving early AND staying late, you need to fill out two separate On Campus Accommodations (one prior to your Orientation session and one after your Orientation session).

All freshmen who attend one of the summer programs need to send a non-refundable $90 meals and lodging fee along with the completed registration card.

If you cannot or prefer not to stay on campus during the summer sessions, please register for the fall session, which takes place at the end of August.

Parents/Family Members

Visit our website at http://www.montana.edu/wwwnss/hotels.shtml for a list of Bozeman area accommodations. Summer is a very busy season in Bozeman. Therefore, we recommend that you make reservations as early as possible.

On-campus housing is also available before, during, and after summer orientation programs. To register for on-campus housing select the link under your Orientation Session date listed below.

We recommend packing separately from your student as parents and students will be housed in separate residence halls. It is best to check in to your room after you have checked in for orientation.

The Miller Dining Hall in the Hedges Complex and the Strand Union Cafeteria are available for breakfast, lunch and dinner on a "pay-as-you-go" basis. There are also many off-campus dining options nearby.
