Non-Resident Fall 2008 Transfer Scholarships

Montana State University will be offering a limited number of scholarships and awards to new non-resident transfer students who apply for admission for the fall of 2008.

To be eligible, you must complete the following as soon as possible:

  1. Apply for admission to Montana State University.
    You’ll find an application in the MSU Viewbook or you can apply online at https://apply.embark.com/ugrad/montanastate/.
  2. Have transcripts of all college-level work which you have completed sent to MSU Admissions. For scholarship purposes, the transcript(s) need not be official, but may be subject to verification.
  3. Have your official ACT and/or SAT test scores sent to Montana State University directly from the testing company.

It is essential to apply for admission, have transcripts and your ACT and/or SAT test scores sent to Montana State University as soon as possible. These scholarships may only be available for a limited time.

If you qualify, these scholarships will be automatically awarded when we have received your application (along with transcript(s)), ACT and/or SAT test scores, and you have been admitted.

* For Fall 2008 MSU Achievement Awards, the total SAT will consist of the Math and Verbal SAT scores on tests taken prior to March 2005. For tests taken after March 2005, the total SAT will be calculated using the Math and Critical Reading scores only.

** These awards are not available to new transfer students transferring into the professional programs in Media Theatre Arts (Motion Picture/Video/Theatre and Photography) or Architecture (Environmental Design).

All Achievement Awards are designated for ‘tuition’ only. If you are awarded an Achievement Award, you must maintain full time, non-resident status for the year in which you receive the Achievement Award.
