Schedule a Visit to MSU!

We are excited that you plan to visit us at Montana State University. Please schedule your visit at least 2 weeks in advance * so that we can make the necessary arrangements to ensure your campus visit is as valuable, insightful and fun as possible.

* We are happy to do our best to schedule visits less than 2 weeks in advance, but we may not be able to accommodate meetings with admission counselors and/or academic departments.

  • Upon submission of this form:
    An initial email will be sent upon submission of this form confirming selected Campus Tour and Information Sessions. An updated confirmation including your final schedule will be sent when all of your meetings are confirmed. The final email is typically sent 3-5 days in advance of your scheduled visit.   • Group Visits:

  • MSU Friday Program:
    Our MSU Friday visit program will be offered during the current upcoming academic year on October 21, 2016, January 27, 2017, March 10, 2017 and March 24, 2017, June 16, 2017.   • Graduate students:
    All meetings and tours scheduled through the Office of Admissions are focused on undergraduate students. For contact information and information about the Graduate School please visit their website at http://www.montana.edu/wwwdg.

  • Transfer students scheduling orientation:
    We welcome prospective freshmen, transfers and families to schedule visits through the online form below! However, if you are a new transfer student who is scheduling transfer orientation, please visit http://www.montana.edu/admissions/orientation. Transfer students who select Orientation Option 1 must schedule their advising meetings directly through their Academic Department. Transfer students are welcome to go on a campus tour in addition to their individual orientation advising session.

This session includes a presentation that highlights the amenities and services provided in the residence halls as well as a tour of a residence hall room and a dining hall.
  

If you have selected a general campus tour, your Residence Hall Information Session will be pre-selected. If you would prefer the alternative time, please indicate that in the comment section below.




This meeting includes information about the admissions process, scholarships, academics and student life. It is highly recommended for students going through the college selection process.

If you are scheduling within four days of your desired visit, we may not be able to accommodate this request.


This meeting includes information about the Architecture/Environmental Design program, scholarships, academics as well as a tour of the facility.

If you are scheduling within four days of your desired visit, we may not be able to accommodate this request.


This meeting includes information about the College of Business, scholarships and academics.

If you are scheduling within four days of your desired visit, we may not be able to accommodate this request.



This meeting includes information about the Honors College.

If you are scheduling within four days of your desired visit, we may not be able to accommodate this request.


This meeting includes information for undecided students and those who want to explore a variety of majors before declaring a specific degree.

If you are scheduling within four days of your desired visit, we may not be able to accommodate this request.


This meeting includes information about the College of Engineering, scholarships, academics as well as a tour of the Facility.

If you are scheduling within four days of your desired visit, we may not be able to accommodate this request.



   

Students who are unsure of their intended area of study are encouraged to select to attend the 1:10pm University Studies Information Session listed above.
