Taylor Blossom

President
He/Him/His

Hey Bobcats! My name is Taylor Blossom, and I’m super excited to be serving as your ASMSU President this year. I am a third-year student double majoring in chemical engineering and economics and am a member of the Honors College. I’m originally from Helena, Montana but have barely left Bozeman since coming here for school. While I’m out of class I try and spend as much time as I can mountain biking, climbing, and doing anything else outside. Since coming to MSU I have been involved with Hall Council, Engineers Without Borders, The Science Policy Advocacy Network, Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity, and ASMSU Senate. I also work in a biological engineering laboratory and volunteer as a CAP mentor at Bozeman High School.

I’m really excited to get to know all of you this year and help make MSU the university you want! Please stop by and say hi! I’m in the glass windows in the SUB and will have the coffee waiting for you (before 11am). This year we are going to be focusing on sustainability, particularly in the areas of transportation and student employment on campus.

Sophia Elias

Vice President

Hi Bobcats! My name is Sophia Elias and I’m excited to be serving as your ASMSU Vice-President this year. I am a senior majoring in biochemistry and I’ve picked up a few minors along the way.  I was born in Israel and moved to Anchorage, Alaska with my family when I was seven. In my free time I love to practice yoga, kayak, paint, climb and do anything outdoors. On campus, I’ve been involved with the Honors College, the College of Letters and Science, the Undergraduate Chemistry Society, a research lab and with ASMSU, as a Senator. Off campus I coach kids how to ice-skate and cross country ski and volunteer at the Bozeman Hospital. I love the community here at MSU and I would love to get to know you better!

Please feel free to stop by the office of student engagement anytime and say hello! We love hearing ideas about things you want to see on campus and appreciate any feedback you may have about our current events. I hope you have a great year! Go Cats!
