I strive to make MSU an enjoyable place for all and if there is anything that your leaders can do to help, don't ever hesitate to ask. 	Scott Roden Representing Off Campus Students Spring seat dscottroden@gmail.com Major:Earth Sciences, Human Geography emphasis Liaison to ASMSU: Streamline Latenight, Arts & Exhibits Organizational Affiliations: Association of American Geographers member About Scott: I was born and raised in a small town in the northeast corner of Tennessee. Being from such a small town, I was never exposed to much diversity and longed for adventure. Upon answering a call for employees in Yellowstone National Park, I boarded a Greyhound Bus bound for Livingston, Montana. As I crossed the country, I saw the people change faster than the landscape. This, as it turns out, was the experience that sparked my curiosity in human geography. After working for a summer in the park, I decided that this was the place for me. I went back to Tennessee, packed my belongings and haven’t looked back since. After spending 8 years living and working in Bozeman, I decided to go back to school. This decision has been one of the most challenging and rewarding of my life. I have a different perspective on the role of the University and what is to be expected from it. As a non-traditional student, I am here not for the experience of maturation into the world; I am here for the acquisition of knowledge and the development of skills. I have worked at Bridger Bowl for 7 seasons as a Lift Operator and as such I’m sure I have put a lot of my fellow students onto the slopes. I feel very connected to the community in Bozeman and wish to feel the same towards the student body of MSU. Any concerns brought before me will be voiced to the entire student senate as I am here to serve as a vessel for you. ASMSU office hours: Friday mornings 8-10 am.
	Koby Bernard Representing Off Campus Students Fall Seat kobybernard@msn.com Major: Sociology Liaison to ASMSU: Liaison to MSU: Public Art Committee About Koby: My name is Koby Bernard and I am a Junior in the Sociology department. From working in the Democratic Republic of Congo to the U.S. Virgin Islands, my 21 years of life have been quite fulfilling. I was born in Houston Texas but have lived in Montana for 18 years. I learned to ski at a very early age and enjoy tearing up backcountry lines and terrain parks alike. Come summer, I hit the rivers with my rafts and tubes. I love to work on my truck, ATVs, and pretty much anything mechanical for that matter. My favorite feature film is Inception (2010), and I enjoy the occasional novel in between studying and working out at the gym. MSU Bozeman has given me so much in the way of good friends, marketable skills, and life lessons that i feel highly compelled to give back. Long story short, this is how i arrived at ASMSU Senate. I am a true believer that a leader is a dealer in hope, and enjoy inspiring others as much as possible. At MSU, I am active in both the Tae Kwon Do and Bushido Kickboxing clubs and have competed in Tae Kwon Do for 7 years. With a combination of martial spirit, logical reasoning, and a fun loving attitude, I am a cool dude in a loose mood. I will strive to help ASMSU become a shining beacon of student leadership within our fine community.

I enjoy hunting, fishing, snow boarding, football, baseball, and water sports. I like working outdoors and traveling to new places, although nothing beats Montana.
