Hey it is official we are racing today in the parking lot by the tennis courts. I know this is short notice but it should be fun, this lot is larger and the club has secured a new timing system to keep track of lap times. We will be there from 12:00pm-5:00pm. If you are reading this today, please call any other club members you know.
Again, sorry for such short notice.
Thanks,
Patrick |

The club will be driving the car this Monday, September 3rd in the parking lot of the campus police station. We will start around noon, and finish when we run out of drivers. Anyone is welcome, and we would love to get new members some seat time. Hopefully those of you that could not make it Sunday will be able to come on Monday. For anyone not familiar with campus yet, here is a link to a map showing the lot we will be using. Or, you can just follow the noise! Hope to see you there. Campus_Map.pdf |

New Semester and First Meeting!! |
Monday, 20 August 2007 |
I hope everyone has had an enjoyable summer! The semester is rapidly approaching and things are starting to get back in motion. The first club meeting is scheduled to be on August 29th at 5:10 pm in Roberts 218. We will be discussing the plans for this coming semester and much more. It's also a great time for new members to get an idea of what we do so bring friends. Catapalooza is coming up this week and we would like volunteers to help with running our booth. It starts on Wednesday and runs from noon until five and ends on Thursday. I am going to work Wednesday and Will is on for Thursday and we could use some help. So if you are in town it would be great if you could help out for a couple of hours. Give Will or I a call or shoot the club an email if you are available . I look forward to a great semester and I think we have learned a lot from last year and this year's competition and it will be a great year. See you soon and enjoy your last week of summer. New Lincoln Welder for Bobcat Motorsports |
Tuesday, 19 June 2007 |
Lincoln Electric has chosen Montana State to recieve this year's annual welder giveaway. Each year during the Formula SAE West competition in Fontana, California, Lincoln chooses one school to recieve a brand new welder. This award is given based on merits outlined in an essay proposal submitted by each team. The addition of this 115/230 volt, 140 amp Lincoln welder to our arsenal puts Bobcat Motorsports one step closer to the winner's circle! Thanks to the generous folks at Lincoln Electric. |

2007 FSAE West Competition a Success! |
Tuesday, 19 June 2007 |
The 2007 Formula SAE competition in Fontana is over. We were met with great success this year. Out of over 80 teams to register, Montana State was one of only 17 to complete every event. Although official results have not yet been released, our scores have earned us a top 20 ranking. This is an enormous improvement over last year's 45th place finish. Thanks to all who made this possible, and stay tuned for more details and official results. |
