Kristy Young has been fortunate to create innovative digital products for some of the most beloved brands. Over the course of her career, she’s launched several new business spin-offs as well as helped to transform legacy organizations to evolve in today’s connected world. Currently, she is Head of Product Management for F+W Media; an enthusiast-focused content and commerce company that is in the process of shifting from a traditional publishing entity to a digital-first organization.
Prior to joining F+W, Kristy relocated to Bozeman, Montana where she founded a digital marketing consultancy, blaZe interactive, LLC. blaZe partners with a diverse group of businesses to navigate new product development, business transformations and digital expansion. Additionally she became a JJCBE Adjunct Professor at Montana State University focused on Marketing.
Prior to relocation, Kristy spent 11 years in New York City in the sports media industry, most recently as Vice President of Product Management for USA TODAY Sports Media Group. There, she led digital product initiatives across three divisions. Kristy previously served as Director of Product Management for ESPN Mobile, where she launched some of the applications we still use today. She also worked on new products and mobile for US West, which later became Qwest and is now CenturyLink.She served on the North American Board of Directors for the Mobile Marketing Association from 2010-2012 and was included on Mobile Marketer's inaugural "Mobile Women to Watch" in 2010.
