Chris Mumford, the MSU Jake Jabs College of Business & Entrepreneurship’s Fall Entrepreneur-in-Residence, will be facilitating a free “Design Thinking Workshop” on Saturday, November 2 from 9:00-11:00 am in Gaines 143.

In the workshop, you will learn how to create lots of fuzzy ideas and crystalize one into a sustainable enterprise. Develop a mindset and process where “uncreative” people can generate creative outcomes.

Join us for this highly entertaining introduction to design thinking in a group setting. Creativity is the hottest growing area in entrepreneurship and learn how to avoid the most common mistake in startups.

He is the founder of Joe Start up, a street-smart entrepreneurial education website which includes whiteboard animation, easy-to-use start up plan builder and social network.

Participants will need to go to the Joe Start up website prior to the workshop and complete the DREAM exercise. Be prepared for the workshop with a “what makes me frustrated?” list of items.
