Marissa has a Marketing Degree from the college of Business at MSU and loves any opportunity to speak with a group of women in the valley about business, goals, grit and so much more.

Claudia’s approach to food is a mash-up of global inspirations using Montana-grown and raised ingredients. She cooks, teaches, plans, and produces condiments and seasonings out of her colorful business, Claudia’s Mesa, which brings a slice of Latin American, the Caribbean, and the Mediterranean to Montana. Liz MarchiLiz Marchi Marchi is the founder of Frontier Angel Fund 2 and the Fund Coordinator for the Frontier Angel Fund, LLC, Montana’s first angel fund. These funds invest in early stage companies in Montana and the inland Pacific Northwest and pioneered a syndication strategy for rural markets.  She serves as Advisory Board Chair for the Flathead Beacon,  and www.flatheadliving.com

an equity financed community media enterprise in Northwest Montana.   She is a co-founder of Northfork Strategies. She serves on the Advisory Board of Next Frontier Capital and on the Board and Finance Committee of North Valley Hospital. Ms. Marchi has a background in legislative and public policy issues related to business growth and development at the state and federal levels.  She is a proven leader and relationship builder and has served as President of the Montana Ambassadors, President of the Hollins University Alumnae Association and as a Trustee of Hollins University.   She served as President and CEO for 7 years of Montana West Economic Development and the Flathead County Port Authority focusing on marketing, communications and access to capital for economic and entrepreneurial development. She served on the Advisory Board for the Montana Meth Project, the Governor’s Economic Development Advisory Council, The Montana World Trade Center, the Greater Polson Community Foundation and the Montana ACE Scholarship Foundation. She was honored by the MSU JJCBE and the Prospera Business Network as the Woman to Woman Mentor of the Year.  She served as one of the two first US State Department Professional Fellows to travel to Myanmar in 2014 to work with entrepreneurs. She resides with her husband Jon on a ranch outside of Polson, Montana where she sells natural, Montana raised, Wagyu (Kobe) beef. www.marchiranch.com

  Michelle HaughtMichelle Haught graduated from MSU with a B.S. Industrial and Management Engineering. She completed her MBA from Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana. For over half of her career she worked in engineering as a project manager, solutions developer, account manager, and supervisor. Eight years ago, Michelle started a business from home. From engineer to entrepreneur, her success and experience in efficiency, process improvement, and time management directly contributed to her success and ability to build a substantial business! With her three boys and husband of 16 years, Michelle resides in Bozeman, MT. She volunteers her time and resources to Tracy’s Sanctuary House, Kristi’s Heart Hugs, 100 Strong Gallatin Valley, Montana Ballet Company, and her son’s schools.

Kara Gallinger headshotKara Gallinger is a Certified Public Accountant, experienced financial executive and consultant, and entrepreneur with years of accounting, finance, strategic and operational experiences. Following over a decade in public accounting and getting two personal entrepreneur ventures off the ground, Kara jumped into the world of tech startups in 2018. For her “day job” Kara most recently served as the VP of Finance & Operations for Bozeman-based healthcare tech startup, CrossTx, and will be officially joining Missoula-based startup LumenAd as Controller. A Montana native and graduate of MSU, Kara began her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Denver, Colorado and upon relocating back to Montana joined Montana-based firm Anderson ZurMuehlen. Kara eventually transitioned into an operational role leading the marketing and business development function of the firm. During this time, Kara co-found a local bar/restaurant in 2016 and The Work Spot MT, a centralized (online) hub to help professionals more easily stay informed on, and connected to, Montana business in 2017. Kara is actively involved in both endeavors today.  

 
Kristen NicholsKristen Nichols is a Vice President, Converged Infrastructure at Oracle and has been at Oracle for the past 7.5 years and is also the Franchise Owner at Once Upon a Child in Bozeman as of October 2018. Kristen holds a Bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University and a MBA from Thunderbird, International School of Business. Kristen has been in Bozeman for 9 years and when not working, enjoys doing triathlons and spending time with her husband and 5 year old son.

With a passion for customer service, taste for superior product quality, and endearing desire to grow and change, she has built Olivelle into a worldwide brand. Olivelle created a "Tap & Taste Oil & Vinegar Bar Concept" that can be found in over 60 stores across the US, a handful of stores in Canada, and most recently crossing the Atlantic into Oslo, Norway.In late 2018, Brie opened Mavens Market with a friend. The store features over 100 varieties of fresh cut cheese & charcuterie, bean to bar chocolates, fresh pasta from Italy, house made gelato, espresso, panini's and grilled cheese, and coming soon, a Wine Bar!
