Other Requirements:

  • As a state agency, we can only use this service for temporary positions. We will need to follow our usual hiring procedures for hiring employees of the state and cannot agree to not hire anyone.

  • Temporary workers, in a position, shall be provided to the requesting agency/department for a maximum 480 hours per position, as required. (Use the modified FTE process for temporary employment requiring longer terms.)

  • Do not sign vendor provided agreements without Procurement Services review.
  • Remember to clearly reference Contract# on your BPA or P-Card report.

If not purchasing from MSU or State contracts normal procurement procedures must be followed: limited solicitation over $5,000, formal bidding (handled by Procurement Services) over $25,000
