Gaines Hall

Handicapped accessible

The chemistry building is named for Paschal Gaines who taught chemistry for 43 years. He was department head, 1946-57 and MSU acting president four times. The hall was built in 1961. Picnic tables and landscaping on the east deck were designed and constructed by civil engineering students in the MSU chapter of American General Contractors.
