Haynes Hall

Handicapped Access at all main doors and through the elevator between Cheever and Haynes Halls

Built in 1974 for $4.1 million, the Creative Arts Complex consists of Haynes, Cheever and Howard Halls and houses the College of Arts and Architecture and the department of agriculture and technology education.

Haynes Hall, home of the School of Art, was named for photographer Jack Haynes who's most noted for his work in Yellowstone National Park. The building holds studios for printmaking, sculpture, painting, metalsmithing, drawing and ceramics. The Haynes Fine Arts Gallery ( open: week days, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.) is on the second floor. Works by students, faculty and guest artists are regularly exhibited.

Haynes is building 24 on our campus map.
