Q) Where are you located?
A) Our office is located in 177 Strand Union Building next to the Financial Aid office.
Q) Where do I park?
A) You may park in the pay lot at 7th and Grant. You may also purchase a hang tag at the pay lot kiosk to use in any S/B lot.
Q) What are your hours?
A) Our office is open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Career, Internship & Student Employment Services resource center is available on a walk-in basis. To make an appointment with a career coach, call (406) 994-4353.
Q) What services do you offer alumni?
A) We offer MyCatCareers job search tool, individual career coaching, resume and cover letter critiques,
workshops, career assessment testing, mock interviews, job and internship listings,
career resource center, career fairs, and networking.
Q) How do I use MyCatCareers?
A) Contact Career, Internship & Student Employment Services to request access. Provide your name (at the time of graduation), student ID, and date of birth. You will be given access once your alumni status is confirmed.
Q) If I am relocating to another part of the country, can Career & Internship Services still help?
A) We can offer you face-to-face career coaching while
you’re in our community, and we also offer virtual career coaching services
if you leave this vicinity.
Q) What is the cost for career coaching?
A) Alumni who have graduated from MSU (up to two years of graduation date) may use MSU Career & Internship Services following the same policy as registered fee paying undergraduate/graduate students.
Alumni who have received their degree outside of two years may use MSU Career & Internship Services for $30 per hour (Career Coaching/Advising, Job Searching, Resume Critiques, Mock Interviewing, etc.).
All alumni and students may use MyCatCareers.com for free.
All alumni and students may attend Career Fairs as an internship/job seeker for free.
All alumni (up to 2 years past graduation) and students may participate in on-campus interviewing for free.
