- Get a summer job or internship; continue to earn expenses and build a good work reputation and work experience.

- Join a campus organization or activity in an area of interest and attend meetings regularly. Participate in activities. Consider becoming a leader or officer in the organization. Participation in campus activities is an effective way to develop leadership, organizational and planning skills.
