Hiliary, along with her husband Trenton and daughter Cadence moved to Bozeman this past June after spending four years in West Virginia. While in West Virginia, Hiliary was an assistant track and field coach at Wheeling Jesuit University, a NCAA Division II school in Wheeling, WV. She was in charge of sprints, jumps, and hurdles. In her four years coaching at Wheeling Jesuit she helped re-write the record books for the university and the West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference in the event groups that she worked with. Athletes that she coached set twenty-four school records and thirteen conference records. She also coached athletes to six of the eight MVP’s that were awarded at the WVIAC conference meets. At the NCAA national level, athletes she coached achieved twenty-four national qualifying marks en route to five All-American awards. In 2007 she was named Men’s Assistant Coach of the Year for the East Region. Prior to coaching, Hiliary competed at Idaho State University, specializing in the triple and long jump. While at Idaho State she earned All Big Sky Honors three times in the triple jump and has the #2 all time marks for the triple jump for both indoors and outdoors. |
