Duties and Responsibilities |
Research Associate position in the Department of Veterinary Molecular Biology using recombinant DNA technology to study host-pathogen interactions in mammalian cells infected with Toxoplasma or Mycobacterium paratuberculosis. Duties may include tissue culture of mouse and human cells, immunofluorescence assays, flow cytometry, RNA isolation and purification, Northern analysis, cDNA synthesis, PCR, Southern analysis, SDS-PAGE, western analysis, molecular cloning and DNA sequencing for the analyses of gene expression, proteomics, immunoprecipitation or gene promoter analyses. Additional requirements will include data compilation, and data reporting associated with the project(s). | ||
