Dr.
Harry Benham
Harry
Benham received his undergraduate degree in Economics from the University
of California, Berkeley in 1970 and his Ph.D. in Economics for the
University of California, Berkeley in 1978. Additional training
in Management Information Systems was obtained from AACSB sponsored
Faculty Development Seminars at the University of Minnesota and
Indiana University in 1985 and 1986 respectively.
Dr.
Benham was a faculty member in the College of Business at the University
of Oklahoma from 1977 to 1990. He joined the Montana State University
College of Business faculty in 1990 where his teaching and research
interests are in Management Information Systems. Dr. Benham has
taught the core Information Systems course as well as specialized
courses covering Databases, Decision Support Systems, and Expert
Systems. In addition, Dr. Benham has taught in the College's Freshman
Seminar and the Management Core.
Dr.
Benham has published articles on Information Technology Adoption,
End-User Compliance with Standards, Ethical Issues in MIS, Internet
Based Instruction, Software Piracy, and Spreadsheet Error Rates. He is active in several
professional organizations, is Associate Editor of Journal of Cases in Information Systems,
and serves on University committees addressing information system
policy issues.
