Dr. Marc A. Giullian is an associate professor of accounting at Montana State University-Bozeman. Prior to coming to MSU, he served on the faculty of the University of Louisiana-Lafayette for six years and as Acting Department Head for one year. Dr. Giullian has bachelor's and master's degrees in accounting from Brigham Young University and earned his Ph.D. in accountancy from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Dr. Giullian teaches courses in financial accounting at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. He has published papers relating to accounting curriculum issues and the impact of technology on accounting professionals and on their communications. Additional research interests include the effects of cognitive phenomena on the judgments of accountants, auditors, and users of financial accounting information. His outside interests include classical music, cooking, hiking, and backpacking.
