Dr. Michael Kroff received his Ph.D. from Texas A&M University. He has a B.S. in Psychology and an M.B.A., both from Brigham Young University. He also has industry experience in retail management and sales. Mike has taught courses in marketing that include principles of marketing, consumer behavior, advertising, and promotion. Since joining Montana State University, Mike has received the Thomas Nopper Excellence in Teaching Award (2007), the College of Business Dean’s Award for Outstanding performance in Teaching (2010), and the Joe and Sharlene Loendorf Excellence in Teaching Award (2011). Mike has also made presentations on marketing strategy to professional groups from organizations such as Alltel, The Interior Designers of Bozeman, and The Boy Scouts of America. Mike’s research interests include consumer behavior, product innovation, and suspense. His work has been published in The Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, the Journal of Business Research, and the Review of Management Innovation and Creativity, and in multiple issues of the AMA Conference Proceedings.
