Curriculum Vita

Angela Woodland joined the College of Business in the Fall of 2008. She received both her B.S. and Ph.D. in Accounting from the University of Missouri.

Before coming to MSU, Woodland taught accounting courses at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and Louisiana State University. She also worked as an auditor for Price Waterhouse LLP, now PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, and Williams Keepers LLP.

Auditing is Woodland's primary area of research interest, especially with her professional background of seven years as an auditor. She is also interested in research relating to the evaluation or improvement of accounting education. Past research papers in this area have focused on the 150-hour education requirement as well as how to use a standards-based framework to incorporate service-learning into graduate auditing courses.

In her free time, Angela enjoys outdoor sports and spending time with her family.
