MONTANA STATE UNIVERSITY STATE FARM INSURANCE FAMILY BUSINESS PROGRAM

General Information

Established in 1994 as an outreach program through Montana State University College of Business, The Family Business Program offers education and information to the backbone of many Montana businesses, those that are owned and managed by families of Montana. The annual seminar and awards luncheon, usually held in September, has reached out to hundreds of businesses and provided education and fact based information to thousands of participants.

In March 2005, State Farm Insurance Companies recognized Bozeman resident Robert Jaedicke for his many years of service on their Board of Directors with a gift to MSU College of Business.  The funds were placed in an endowment for the Family Business Program, providing a way to enhance the annual program and develop new outreach programs and seminars.  

In addition to the endowment, State Farm has provided annual funding to enhance the current program and allow growth and development of additional programs.  Agents from across the state have pledged their support for the program's endowment.
