The College of Business has several exchange programs available to MSU Business students. Students typically go on exchange during their second semester of junior year or first semester of senior year.

Imagine the opportunities!

  • You can spend a semester or a full year at any of the following universities for approximately what it would cost you to stay at MSU (plus travel and personal expenses)
  • Your pre-approved courses will count toward your COB degree requirements
  • You'll gain valuable experiences that will help you grow personally and professionally

To be eligible, you must be formally admitted to the COB by the time you depart on the exchange, and must satisfy the criteria listed in the application. Information on these exchanges and application materials are available in Reid 338 and from the faculty representatives listed below.

The National University of Ireland, Galway is located in the beautiful city of Galway in the west of Ireland. The University is one of the most popular universities in Ireland, and offers courses in business (called Commerce in Ireland) as well as many other disciplines. Essentially all classes are taught in English, although the University does also offer some classes in Gaelic. The MSU College of Business has a close relationship with NUIG, and many College of Business students have participated in this exchange.

University of Ulster-Jordanstown, Northern Ireland

The Jordanstown campus is the flagship campus of the University of Ulster and is located in a beautiful suburb of Belfast, Northern Ireland. There have been active exchanges between MSU and the University of Ulster for the last three years. All of the MSU participants have described their experience as being incredibly enriching both personally and professionally and that they were completely unaffected by the disputes regarding the status of Northern Ireland. We can easily put interested students in touch with MSU students who have done exchanges at the University of Ulster.
