Paul Nix

Paul E. Nix, associate professor of accounting at MSU Bozeman
College of Business was the lead author of "The Management of
Research and Development and the Relevance of Financial
Accounting." The article, published in the winter 2002 Journal
of Applied Business Research, was a study that investigated
alternatives to current financial accounting treatment of
research and development expenditures in US public corporations.
Nix was also published in a journal used at the 2002 Annual
Conference of American Society of Business and Behavioral Science
held in Las Vegas this past February. His feature article was
titled "The Teaching Transition from Financial Accounting to
Management Accounting."
