Montana Campus Corps Service Learning

Montana Campus Corps is a state of Montana AmeriCorps program. The mission of Montana Campus Corps is to engage college students in meeting community identified needs through meaningful service.
Montana Campus Corps Service Learning Members are student who are providing service to their community in combination with their academic curriculum. The members are applying the skills and knowledge they are learning in the classroom to benefit the community. Through this experience the members will enhance their ability to provide service to the community. Upon completion of their service in the community the student will receive an Education Award.
Education Awards are electronic vouchers that students receive to apply towards upcoming tuition expenses, pay down qualified federal loans, or can be “saved” for up to 7 years in the National Trust.
Students make a commitment to complete a specified Term of Service and upon completion of the Term of Service the member receives an Education Award in the following corresponding value.
Term of Service Education Award
300 Hours $1,000.00
450 Hours $1,250.00
675 Hours $1,800.00
900 Hours $2,362.00
1700 Hours $4,725.00
*All Terms of Service must be completed within the academic year. The 900 hour Term of Service is the only Term that is eligible to carry over from one academic year to the next.
