Step 1- Eligibility Requirements
AmeriCorps
- Over 17 years of age or older (17 year olds must have parental consent)
- US Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Proof of Citizenship - Provide a copy of US Passport OR US Birth Certificate and Federally Issued Photo Identification
- Pass a Criminal Background Check
- Results of Background Check will be taken into consideration based on the Member's Service Site and the Population they are serving.
- Earned a High School Diploma or GED
Montana Campus Corps
- Currently Enrolled Student in 6 or More University Credits
- Engaging in Qualified Service at a Qualified Service Site
- Meeting a Compelling Community-Identified Need at a Nonprofit Organization or Tax Exempt Agency
- Volunteering (NOT PAID) Service as Part of an Academic Course
MSU Campus Corps
- Commitment to Becoming Involved in Your Community
- Commitment to Completing the Requirements of Campus Corps and Receiving their AmeriCorps Education Award
