About Donating
The Montana State University Office for Community Involvement has many opportunities for interested donors to help with gifts or donations. Alumni of our program, parents of current participants in OCI programs, or other interested parties are invited to help ensure the long-time stability of the OCI. These people so far have been very helpful in making contributions to our existing accounts that allow us to do many things we could not do otherwise. 

We have several existing funds to which graduates and others may contribute at any time, in any amount. To donate to these specific general funds, contact the OCI directly (see below). The OCI BreaksAway Account helps support our BreaksAway program by keeping trip costs low for our students. The OCI Gift Account supports several programs in our office including America Reads*America Counts, and the OCI Match Account helps cover the member match expenses incurred on every AmeriCorps member we take on.   All of these funds are managed in-house by the Office for Community Involvement.  

Large donations, or donations by corporations, can be made to the MSU Foundation by specifying that the funds go to the OCI, gifts to the MSU foundation are tax deductable. Larger gifts can also be used to give scholarships in the name of an individual or in memory of an individual. 

Individuals wishing to create specific funds with a designated or limited purpose can contact the OCI and we will work with you and the MSU Foundation to make this possible.
