We are always looking to create new partnerships with community organizations in need. If you are interested in hosting an MSU BreaksAway group, please contact Mandy St. Aubyn at (406) 994-3113 or amanda.staubyn@montana.edu.
To qualify as a host site:
- Be a non-profit or tax-exempt organization.
- Have the ability to host a group of approximately 12.
- Provide an on-site coordinator to facilitate an orientation and direct the group throughout their service week.
- Prepare adequate service work for the group to participate in for 5-8 hrs./day for the duration of the week (M-F).
Feedback from past Host Sites:
"Wow! What a group! Thank you so much for the help that your students provided. We really accomplished a lot. The assistance in building props for the All Hallows Eve event, was greatly appreciated. The students worked hard, and we should have a great presentation for the visitors due in a large part to their efforts. The event will help support the Nevada City Museum buildings, and educational efforts throughout the rest of the year. It really worked out well, and all of the students put forth an exceptional effort. MSU can be proud of young people such as you sent to help with this project!
