Service Saturdays are service projects held on the first Saturday of the month that are coordinated and sponsored by MSU’s Office for Community Involvement , Associated Students of Montana State University (ASMSU) & MSU Parent Family Association. Projects will vary from month to month, so please check back for upcoming project details. Click here to see photos from previous Service Saturdays! Also check out our testimonials from last year!

Thank you to all the amazing volunteers who came out to serve on February 4th. We had a record breaking 95 volunteers who served a combined 220 hours!! What an impact. Volunteers assembled over 2,000 dental bags for kids K-3, cleaned and maintained the Bozone Ozone Bus, set up the Big Brothers Big Sisters Hollywood Gala, organized the Habitat for Humanity Storage Barn and created an incredible 350 Valentine’s Day Cards for the Food Bank Senior Groceries Program! Join us next Service Saturday for even more projects.

Meet: Near Ask-Us Desk in Strand Union Building (SUB)
Time: 10am-12pm. Please plan to arrive 15 min. early.
Transportation: Will be provided if the service site is not within walking distance of MSU.
What to bring/wear:
- Please wear comfortable clothing that can get dirty
- Wear close-toed shoes as some projects may be manual labor
- Bring water/snacks or other items you may need

March 3rd Projects:
Making a Recipe Book with Childcare Connections
Looking for a way to spice up your meals? Well add this project to your menu as volunteers head into the grocery store to help plan and price out recipes for a cookbook highlighting how it is cheaper to eat at home. Childcare Connections promotes quality childcare and nutrition, while working to reduce hunger in children.
Storage Organization @ Childcare Connections
Handy? Have two hands? Well we need you! Volunteers are needed to build shelves, organize boxes and do a complete revamp of the Childcare Connections storage shed.
Scout Day @ the Museum of the Rockies: Project from 10:00-2:00, Lunch Provided
Looking for a little adventure in your life? Explore the Museum of the Rockies at a special day just for Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts. Volunteers are needed to help with check in and assist in activities such as origami, jewelry and “It’s Your Planet” throughout the museum. Creativity got your appetite going? No worries, lunch is provided! Scout day welcomes scouts to participate in engaging activities to help them complete badge requirements, Journey requirements and build values.
Spring Clean @ Centennial Park Early Childhood Learning Program
Miss the classroom filled with toys and a little bit of magic? Come spend your morning at a local preschool as volunteers clean toys and organize playrooms. Centennial Park provides quality preschool service to low income students.
