Tickets go on sale for Montana Rep's 'Trip to Bountiful'

Bozeman - Tickets go on sale Jan. 9 for the Montana Repertory Theatre and Montana Shakespeare in the Parks' presentation of Horton Foote's "The Trip to Bountiful," at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 7 in the Montana State University Strand Union Theatre.
The play is produced by the Montana Repertory Theatre and co-sponsored by Montana Shakespeare in the Parks. It is the story of 60-year-old Carrie Watts, who flees her son's crowded Houston apartment to take a courageous trip to her childhood home in Bountiful. Greg Johnson, a member of the faculty of the Department of Drama/Dance at the University of Montana and a 19-year veteran of the New York stage, directs the play.
The Bozeman performance is part of the Montana Repertory Theatre's national tour, which runs from Jan. 21 to April 1, performing in 14 states.
Tickets for the Bozeman performance are $12 and are available at First Interstate Bank in the MSU Strand Union Building, Borders Books, Cactus Records ($1 service fee applies), or by calling (406) 994-3901. All proceeds from this performance will benefit the outreach programs of the Montana Rep and Montana Shakespeare in the Parks.
