Clark appointed to national committee

BOZEMAN -- Janet Clark has been appointed by U.S. Secretary of the Interior Dirk Kempthorne to serve a three-year term on the Invasive Species Advisory Committee of the National Invasive Species Council in Washington, D.C. Clark is director of the Center for Invasive Plant Management at Montana State University, which supports natural resource managers, educators and scientists in the west by serving as an information clearinghouse, providing professional development opportunities, and organizing and directing multi-state collaborative projects in weed research and management. The center is housed in MSU's Land Resources and Environmental Sciences Department in the College of Agriculture.
