BOZEMAN--Lynn Paul, EdD, RD, has been appointed to serve as a board member for the Society for Nutrition Education (SNE). Paul is a food and nutrition specialist with the Montana State University Extension Service.
SNE represents the unique professional interests of nutrition educators in the United States and worldwide. SNE is dedicated to promoting healthy, sustainable food choices and has a vision of healthy people in healthy communities.
Paul serves as a board liaison to two of the organization's divisions: the Advisory Committee on Public Policy, which provides SNE's response to nutrition public policy; and the Weight Realities Division, which advocates health and quality of life rather than slenderness at any cost.
Paul is involved in many nutrition projects in Montana, including "Pathways to Health," which seeks to prevent eating disorders; and "Food Safety Works," which promotes food safety education to frontline food service workers.
