MSU nursing professor Clarann Weinert won The Ohio State University Nursing Alumni Society Mildred E. Newton Distinguished Educator Award for 2008.
Clarann Weinert, a professor in MSU's College of Nursing, has been named the recipient of The Ohio State University Nursing Alumni Society Mildred E. Newton Distinguished Educator Award for 2008.

The award recognizes a graduate whose personal integrity and commitment to nursing education, advancement of nursing science through research and publication, or exemplary practice of nursing contributes significantly to the recruitment and preparation of the next generation of nurses.

The awards presentation is Friday, Sept. 5.
