Bring mountain pine beetle and other insect questions to Sept. 12 Farmer's Market

BOZEMAN -- Montana State University Extension's booth at the Saturday, Sept. 12, Farmers' Market at the Gallatin County Fairgrounds will feature Bozeman's city forester and an insect specialist.

Ryon Stover, Bozeman's city forester, will be available to answer questions about mountain pine beetle. Ruth O'Neill, from MSU's Schutter Diagnostic Lab, will answer questions about insect pests.

The pair also will provide Extension fact sheets, and people can bring in plant samples for diagnosis or identification. The public can also contact Extension specialists at MSU's Schutter Diagnostics Lab, (406) 994-5150.
