"Landscapes: Prints by Gesine Janzen" at the Exit Gallery Nov. 2-13

"Landscapes," a collection of new prints by Gesine Janzen that was made possible by an MSU Scholarship and Creativity grant, will be showing in the Exit Gallery Nov. 2 - 13. The exhibit is presented by ASMSU Campus Entertainment.
A free public artist's reception will be held Wednesday, Nov. 4, from 5-7 p.m.
Janzen was born in Newton, Kansas, in 1967. She received undergraduate degrees in art from Bethel College and the University of Kansas, and earned her MFA in printmaking from the University of Iowa in 1998. Her work has been exhibited widely, both nationally and internationally, including a recent show at the International Print Center of New York. Her prints are included in public and corporate collections such as the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, the Hallmark collection and Sprint in Kansas City. She has taught at the Kansas City Art Institute, the University of Missouri in Kansas City, and is currently working as an associate professor of art and head of printmaking at MSU.
The Exit Gallery is located in Strand Union Building room 212. Hours are Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
