Tickets go on sale at 8 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, for Montana State University's popular Madrigal Dinner, to be held Dec. 5 and 6 at MSU and Dec. 7 in Big Sky.

Tickets are $35, cash or check accepted, and will be sold from 8-11 a.m. Nov. 21 in the lobby of Howard Hall, on the MSU campus. Doors to the lobby will be open at 6 a.m.

Tickets not sold Nov. 21 will be on sale from 8 a.m.-noon and 1 p.m.-5 p.m. weekdays in the Department of Music office in Howard Hall until all tickets are sold.

Tickets for the Dec. 7 dinner at Buck's T-4 in Big Sky are $55 and are available by calling the Big Sky Association for the Arts, (406) 995-2742.

The MSU Department of Music production, in its 44th year, transports contemporary guests to a Renaissance feast. For two nights the MSU SUB ballroom is transformed into a great baronial hall. SUB catering creates a traditional Renaissance dinner with a gourmet twist and knaves and wenches perform traditional carols sung for centuries during the twelve days of Christmas.

The dinner and performance is a cherished Bozeman tradition, said Kirk Aamot, professor of choral music and director of the MSU Chorale and the Montanans, who both perform accompanied by the MSU Brass Quintet.

Paul Birkeland, director of MSU catering, and his crew will prepare 260 dinners for each performance. This year's menu features a pork loin dinner or a vegetarian option. The dinner ends with traditional English fig pudding.

Proceeds from the event fund MSU student scholarships.

For more information, call the MSU music department at 994-3562.
