ASMSU Outdoor Rec offers wilderness medicine courses

A Wilderness First Responder
Two wilderness medicine courses will be offered at MSU by Aerie Backcountry Medicine.
A Wilderness First Aid class will be conducted on Dec. 5 and 6.
A Wilderness First Responder recertification course will also be conducted on Dec. 5 and 6.
Option CPR certification for either course will be offered on Dec. 4.
The wilderness medicine curriculum is designed to prepare participants to deal with emergency situations that may involve prolonged patient care in severe environments with improvised equipment.
The courses will be held on the MSU campus and are sponsored by ASMSU Outdoor Recreation. Registration information and further details may be obtained by contacting Aerie Backcountry Medicine at (406) 542-9972 or www.aeriemed.com
