University Printing Services Price Lists
| University Printing is a self-supporting unit and charges a fee for most services. These charges cover the salaries, equipment and operation of the graphics unit and are very competitive with the alternatives. Most of our services are charged on the basis of quantity rate. A few services are charged as a flat or hourly rate.
If you would like an estimate of costs to provide graphic services for your specific project, please contact our main desk at 994-5708.You may obtain this information from several of our staff members. Due to our role as a public institution, University Printing does not engage in the practice competitive bidding.

MSU Letterhead New Order Reprint
With the introduction of the new MSU logo the only option available initially for letterhead is a standard two-color (blue and gold) printing. All sheets are 8 1/2"x11", bright white, smooth finish, Fraser Pegasus 24lb writing. The stock and ink are both laser-safe. The prices for the quantities listed below now include the typesetting services and represent the total cost. MSU Envelopes New Order Reprint
With the introduction of the new MSU logo the preferred option for envelopes is a standard two-color (blue and gold) printing, however a one-color option is also available for greater economy. Both pricing options are shown below. Two-color envelopes are no. 10 business size, bright white, smooth finish, Fraser Pegasus 24lb writing. One-color envelopes are on a white economy paper stock. All paper stocks and inks are laser-safe. The prices for the quantities listed below for new printing now include the typesetting services and represent the total cost. MSU Business Cards New Order Reprint
There are two recommended options for standard MSU business cards. The first is the standard two-color (blue and gold) offset printing on one-side only. The second option is the same, but includes a full-color aerial photo printed on the back. A third option, using digital output rather than offset printing, is available for users needing only a small quantity and/or a quick turnaround. All business cards are on a bright white, smooth finish, Fraser Pegasus 80lb cover. The prices for the quantities listed below now include the typesetting services and represent the total cost. Digital Color Copies/Output There is a $3.00 Output Fee for all direct digital output. Files or projects requiring more than one copy will have a $5.00 Output Fee. Basic prices are for regular 28 lb. single-sided color copy paper. Please call for a quote on larger quantities or double-sided copies or for glossy or cardstock paper options.

Digital Black Only Copies/Output There are numerous options that determine the unit cost for black only copies. These include paper size, type, weight, color and brand. We offer too many options to include all these here. Below are some comparative prices for 8.5"x11" (letter) copies in a few weights. We also offer 8.5"x14" (legal) and 11"x17" (tabloid) sizes.
