Shields River Health Ministry The Shields River Health Ministry is a health ministry project based out of the Shields River Lutheran Church and is available to all Shields River valley residents. The Shields River Health Ministry's mission is to share their programs, information, and resources. Their goals include nursing and other volunteer services. Funding from the Montana Faith-Health Co-op has helped the Shields River Health Ministry get started. With a steering committee of one physician, three nurses, two dietitian-diabetic educators and other volunteers who are familiar with the community, the Shields River Health Ministry hopes to contribute toward the Center's research goals by collaborating on specific topics or through referral of subjects.
