Western Writers Coercion Group
Description

The Western Writers Coercion Group (WWCG) is an inter-institutional, interdisciplinary faculty writing support group that began in June, 2003.  Meetings are held every week via teleconference.

WWCG aims to improve the writing skills and productivity of its members through goal setting and critique of each other's work.  At meetings, members encourage one another to set and to meet writing goals, and they discuss and assist with current writing projects.  Guest speakers and writing experts are invited to share insights with the group on occasion.

WWCG is open to faculty members and graduate students who can commit to attend meetings and who are genuinely interested in improving their writing through this dynamic group endeavor.  The WWCG is sponsored by the CRCHC and is facilitated by Dr. Sharon Cumbie (University of Wyoming), sacumbie@uwyo.edu, 307-766-4963.
