Strand Union Building - Ballrooms C & D

6pm - 8pm

India Night

A significant festival in Hinduism, Sikhism and Jainism; Diwali (festival of the lights) is celebrated on the first day of the lunar Karita month. The lights represent the victory of good over evil, and as the last harvest of the year is finished, prayers for a good year ahead are made.

The Indian Student Association at MSU invite the public to join in celebrating this holiday, sharing in Indian culture, song and dance while tasting delicious Indian food. This is a tremendous opportunity for exposure to a world that we do not often see or experienced in Montana.

Culture, song, dance and of course, food!
