Diversity Dialogue Seminar Application Things to note before signing up: 
♦Groups will meet at CPS in 211 Swingle and lunch will be provided.                                                         
♦Seminars will last 1 1/2 hours and you must be able to attend the entire seminar.  You may choose to attend one seminar or multiple seminars.                                                              
♦When participating in a group, you need to be able to speak from your own experiences.                                            
♦Return the application to Mariah Hill at Counseling & Psychological Services (CPS) (211 Swingle, above Student Health Services) or to Phenocia Bauerle in the Diversity Awareness Office (SUB 284) by at least a week prior to the date of the seminar.

Dialogue Groups: 
__________    Exploring ethnic identity—What is ethnic identity?  Is it different than race?  Come discuss how your ethnic identity has shaped your experiences.  Meets Tuesday, February 24th from 12-1:30.

 

__________    Exploring class--This group will discuss the impact of social class on our lives as students, citizens, and how social class intersects with other identities.   Meets Tuesday, March 10th from 12-1:30.

 

__________    Exploring gender identity—How does gender identity differ from sex?  How do you express gender?  This group allows men and women to share with one another about their experiences related to being male, female, transgendered, or intersex.  Meets Tuesday, April 7th from 12-1:30.
