When logging into Brightspace LE, most MSU-Bozeman participants will use their NetID and password associated with their NetID to authenticate.

  • To find out your NetID, go to MyInfo and select the "Log into MyInfo" link. After successful log in to the area, on the "Personal Information" tab, select the "View IDs" link.
  • Set your NetID password via the My Profile page by using your Last Name, User Identification number (MSU ID; MSU Student ID) and accompanying personal identification number (PIN).

You can login to Brightspace (D2L) LE by going to the Brightspace (D2L) login page - use your NetID coupled with your NetID password.

Navigating the My Profile page

The MSU user identification number (MSU ID; MSU Student ID) and accompanying PIN are used during verification when changing passwords via the My Profile page - so it is important that you establish and know this information.
